Celebrating 40 Years of the National Scholastic Surfing (NSSA) Association - Raising World Champions and Industry Leaders.  This new exhibit connects the dots between education and the power of surfing.  Wait till you see the early days thanks to Co-Founder , all the way through to today!  It all started with the NSSA!  Wait till you see surfboards and stories from local hero's and US Open of Surfing Champions Courtney Conlogue, Kanoa Igarashi, Brett Simpson, John- John Florence, Timmy Reyes, Bethany Hamilton and so many others!  You will see old school early years from our first West Coast Champion - Bud Llamas who changed the course of history in surfing, along with Rockin Fig still surfing in the NSSA - we also included the early days of kneeboarding and of course our future - Our GROMs and the future of Surfing! You will be surprised to also see this year's Surfing Scholar with a 4.25 grade point average!


Don't miss our Grand Opening with Talk Stories with NSSA Executive Director Janice Aragon, NSSA Champion Courtney Conlogue, NSSA Champion Dr. Doonan, our Scholar of the Year, and lots of other surprises!  Executive Director of the International Surfing Museum will stir things up for the interviews - get ready for some fun, surfing and some serious learning!  


The mission of the International Surfing Museum is to Honor the history, culture of surfing and celebrate the future of surfing, protecting our surfing playgrounds - our oceans, and paying it forward to our next generation of surfers - our Groms!
